STACO Holds Its Annual General Meeting and Reviews 2026 Operational Plans
The Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation (STACO) held its annual general meeting today at its headquarters in Tripoli, with the participation of center and office directors joining via videoconference. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Salem Ramadan.
The meeting brought together the heads of the foundation’s affiliated centers, including the Center for International Humanitarian Law, the Libyan Center for Studies and Research, the Al-Taher Al-Zawi Center for Studies, Research, and Manuscript Verification, the Libyan Center for Qur’anic Affairs, and Al-Zawi Publishing House. Also in attendance were program and operations managers, along with financial and human resources officers.

The discussions focused on technical and operational matters, as each center presented a detailed report on its key projects and activities implemented during 2025, highlighting progress rates and achievements. Participants also reviewed the proposed operational plans for 2026, which outlined the goals and initiatives scheduled for the upcoming year.
The meeting further addressed mechanisms to enhance coordination between the General Administration, affiliated centers, and external offices to ensure integration of plans and efficient implementation. The session concluded with a review of the procedures related to closing the current financial year and the allocations required to launch the new year’s operational plans.
